Short description of the course:

Biology of parasitic Eukaryotes. Biodiversity of parasites determined phylogenetically and by environmental factors at the molecular, individual and population levels. Systematics, morphology, life cycle and physiology. Pathogenicity of parasitic infections and epidemiology of diseases caused by parasites. Differentiation and evolution of interactions in the parasite-host system.
